Title: My Journey: Advisor I to II Promotional Infographic

Challenge: Create a unique and authentic way to showcase my journey as an Advisor I and demonstrate why I should be promoted to Advisor II, while presenting the information in an engaging and accessible format.

Process: To stay true to myself, I decided to incorporate creativity into the presentation, even though it wasn't a typical requirement for my role in higher education. I began by sketching concepts and developing custom icons that represented key moments in my journey. I also curated a color palette that resonated with my personal style and values. My goal was to design an infographic that was not only fun and visually engaging but also clear and simplified, making my case for the promotion in a way that stood out. I wanted the presentation to feel fresh, interactive, and approachable for the promotion committee.

Impact: The final infographic became an effective and memorable tool for my presentation. The promotion committee was impressed by the innovative approach, and they found the content both relatable and easy to understand. It helped them clearly see the progression of my journey and the value I brought to the role. As a result, I was awarded the promotion to Advisor II.
