Title: Miss Behave Full Branding Student Project

Challenge: Create a unique brand from scratch, designing a logo, brand identity, and supporting materials to showcase a fully developed branded asset that speaks to a clear mission and target audience.

Process: Throughout this project, I collaborated weekly with my peers and instructor, sharing my designs and receiving constructive feedback. I wanted to create a company that empowered young girls to embrace confidence and self-expression through fashion. The goal was to design a brand that encouraged them to dress in a way that made them feel confident, authentic, and true to themselves, without the pressure to impress others. I researched fashion trends, brand positioning, and the psychology behind confidence and self-expression in young girls.

I began by sketching initial ideas, refining my concepts based on peer feedback, and researching how similar brands spoke to their target audiences. After multiple iterations, I created a complete brand package that included a logo, color palette, typography, and visual elements. To bring the brand to life, I printed all materials and took in-house product shots, combining them with carefully selected stock images where I superimposed my designs. This gave the materials a polished, realistic feel, and allowed me to showcase how the brand could be presented in a real-world context.

Impact: Miss Behave aims to challenge traditional beauty standards and empower young girls to embrace their individuality. By blending fashion with confidence-building messaging, the brand communicates the idea that true beauty lies in self-expression, not in conforming to societal expectations. The bold, playful branding reflects this empowering message, with colors, typography, and imagery that appeal to young girls looking for both style and authenticity. This branding project serves as a visual celebration of individuality and self-love, helping to create a space where young girls feel encouraged to express their personality through fashion, while respecting their own values and sense of self-worth. The final materials—successfully communicated a strong brand identity that resonated with the intended audience.
