Title: Yo-Yo Ma Concert Ticket & Poster Design

Challenge: Design a commemorative concert ticket and poster for a Yo-Yo Ma performance, intended as a meaningful holiday gift.

Process: To create a design that resonated with the client, I started by researching Yo-Yo Ma’s body of work and his artistic legacy, ensuring that the design captured the elegance and refinement associated with his music. I consulted with the client to understand their vision for the gift, gaining insight into their preferences and the emotional significance of the concert. After gathering this information, I sketched initial concepts and developed multiple iterations, presenting them to the client for feedback and refining the design to meet their expectations.

To showcase the designs in a realistic setting, I used stock image (of Yo-Yo Ma from his website) mock-ups from FreePik to present the concert ticket and poster in a professional manner. While I used stock images for the mock-ups, all design elements, including the layout, typography, and visuals, were entirely created by me.

Impact: The final design successfully captured the significance of the concert and the family's deep admiration for Yo-Yo Ma, making the ticket and poster a heartfelt, personalized gift. The project not only commemorated the concert but also celebrated a cherished shared experience, leaving a lasting impression on the recipients.
