Background:
I volunteer as Communication Director and Executive Board Member for Friends of Sabino Canyon (FOSC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to conserving, protecting, and enhancing Sabino Canyon.

Challenge:
I needed to create cohesive branding for FOSC that aligned with its mission and increase community engagement, encourage donations, and ensure consistency across materials.

Process:
I developed a style guide with colors, fonts, logo usage, and imagery for consistent branding. I did not create the logo, typography, or color palette. I co-organized the Canyon Interpretive Outpost Grand Opening, incorporating an invitation program, event schedule, and a QR code for donations. I also designed a branded membership package for supporters, including a membership card and pin. I created a PowerPoint presentation for a congressional grant, simplifying complex information and ensuring a professional look.

Impact:
The new branding improved FOSC's visual identity, increasing brand recognition. Personalized materials and the QR code boosted donor engagement. The professional image helped raise more donations and improved outreach. The initiatives also increased community involvement and attracted new supporters.

Tools/Techniques:
I used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Placeit for mockups.
